సంప్రదించి సమాచారం పాస్ చేశారు. అనంతరం ఉన్నతాధికారులకు సైతం ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్ అందించారు. దీంతో వెంటనే అప్రమత్తమైన జిల్లా యంత్రాంగం పైప్‌లైన్ రెండువైపులా ఉన్న వాల్వ్‌లను మూసివేసేందుకు చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. అందుకోసం నిపుణులను సంప్రదించినట్టు తెలిసింది.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>ఈ క్రమంలోనే ధూలే-సోలాపూర్ రహదారి వైపు 24 కిలోమీటర్ల మేర ట్రాఫిక్‌ను మళ్లించారు. దీంతో నాగ్‌పూర్ నుంచి ముంబై వెళ్లే దారిలోనూ కిలోమీటర్ల మేర వాహనాలు నిలిచిపోయాయి. వాల్వ్ మూసివేసే క్రమంలో లేదా లీకేజీ భారీగా జరిగితే ఎటువంటి ప్రాణనష్టం సంభవించకుండా ముందస్తుగానే అధికారులు, పోలీసులు సమన్వయం చేసుకుని ట్రాఫిక్ మళ్లించినట్టు సమాచారం. ప్రస్తుతం అక్కడ గ్యాస్ లీకేజీని అడ్డుకునేందుకు  నిపుణుల బృందం అక్కడకు చేరుకుని చర్యలు చేపట్టినట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. దీంతో ప్రజలంతా స్వేచ్ఛగా  ఊపిరి పీల్చుకున్నారు.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>అయితే, దేశంలో జరిగిన అతిపెద్ద విపత్తులో మధ్యప్రదేశ్  భోపాల్ గ్యాస్ లీకేజీ ఘటన ఒకటి.. అర్ధరాత్రి గ్యాస్ లీక్ అవ్వడంతో నిద్రలోనే వేలాది మందికి పైగా శ్వాస అందక మరణించారు. 1984 డిసెంబర్ రాత్రి 2 నుంచి 3 గంటల ప్రాంతంలో ఈ ఘటన చోసుకోగా.. యూనియన్ కార్బైడ్ కర్మాగారం నుంచి వెలువడిన అత్యంత విషపూరితమైన మిథైల్ ఐసోసైనేట్ (MIC) పీల్చడంతో ఊపిరాడక ప్రజలు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. ప్రభుత్వ అధికారిక లెక్కల ప్రకారం దాదాపు 2,250 నుండి 3,500 మంది వరకు మరణించారు. ప్రమాదం జరిగిన తొలి రెండు వారాల్లో 8,000 మంది, ఆ తర్వాత అనారోగ్య సమస్యలతో మరో 8,000 పైగా మరణించినట్టు అధికారుల అంచనా.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Ca
